Turn 1 Battle Report - Sector 57

Initial Deployment: A lone British submarine attempts to contest Sector 57 against a German carrier group supported by submarines and flying boats.

Turn 1: The German destroyers move ahead to screen while the torpedo bombers and flying boats hunt for the British submarine.
Turn 2: The destroyers and u-boats close with the submarine.  The aircraft continue to harass but not damage the HMS Triton and the Z-19 lays a smoke screen to protect against short range torpedoes.

Turn 3: The British win initiative, giving a HMS Triton a small advantage in the ensuing game of cat and mouse.  The Z-32 uses Sub Hunter to get within ASW range.  Lots of weapons are discharged, but none with any effectiveness.

Turn 4: Losing initiative, the HMS Triton is now at the mercy of the surrounding hunters.  The BV 138 Flying Boats finally land a depth charge hit and the Z-32 finishes off the British submarine before it can launch any more torpedoes.

Conclusion: The Germans capture the sector with no damage, taking down a British submarine in the process.
